"WOW what a day!" is the response our 32 residents and young physicians as well as their hosts had to say about our 2nd annual L'Oreal Day of Discovery. Everyone was engaged and enjoyed their time at this day long event. Toward the end of the day, there were two educational tracks to give value and insight to their future. One was with Dr. Kavita Mariwalla, who spoke with Jamie Rosen, Beauty Director of Town and Country, about the benefits of working with media to bring the true skin expertise of dermatologists to the general public. The second topic was with Dr. Doris Day, discussing building her career from where she was as a resident to where she is today. For many, this was the highlight of the day – except maybe after getting to shop at the company store! Many attendees left inspired by the opportunity, one even called it "one of the best days of their residency thus far." A very special thank you to everyone involved making this program grow leaps and bounds in just its 2nd year.
