Residents and Fellows receive many benefits by joining the WDS.

No dues are assessed for resident/fellow members of the WDS. Each year, resident/fellow members should update their information before December 31st to remain an active member and retain their complimentary membership status. In addition, membership dues are discounted more than 50% for up to three years following residency/fellowship.


Virtual Resident Education Series Events

The WDS Resident Education Series is a collection of live educational sessions on a variety of topics spanning the breadth of dermatology. Following the live events, the sessions will be available on the WDS Members Only section of the website. A Zoom link will be provided to all registered attendees before each event. Register Today!

Service Programs & Regional Networking

The Women's Dermatologic Society is very passionate about our Service Program, which began in 2004. We have created two distinct programs that offer skin cancer prevention outreach and sun safety education to communities and schools around the United States. The WDS Service Programs include Play Safe in the Sun, & Coast-2-Coast. In 2018, the TIPP Women's Shelter Initiative was created to address total women's health via the dermatology gateway in communities across the United States and internationally. 

The goal of the Regional Group is to help facilitate local gatherings to provide opportunities in each region for networking, and mentorship, as well as for service projects to be carried out more expeditiously. These opportunities can be events held individually or held concurrently with different cities and regions.

Mentorship Award

The Purpose of the award is to develop mentoring relationships that might not otherwise be possible due to distance or funding availability. The program helps develop leadership potential in candidates who have shown early promise through exceptional activities, which will enhance their contributions to dermatology and medicine.
