MEET THE WDS STAFF 

KRIS HASKIN | Executive Director

Kris joined the Women’s Dermatologic Society in July 2019 as Executive Director. Kris has worked in the nonprofit field with medical associations for over 20 years. She has volunteered for a variety of nonprofit organizations as well as within her sorority where she currently serves as the Foundation President.

Kris has both her Bachelors and Masters from Eastern Illinois University with a concentration in political science. Kris enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends outside of work.

MAGGIE MACGILLIS | Meetings Manager

Maggie joined the Women’s Dermatologic Society in October 2019 as the Meetings Manager.  Prior to joining WDS, Maggie worked for 12 years in conference centers in both Madison, WI and Chapel Hill, NC.  Her focus was on social events such as weddings, dinner meetings, and holiday parties.  She also had the responsibly for wait staff as the catering manager for these events.

Maggie graduated from Mount Mary University with a BA in History. In addition to spending time with her black lab puppy, Maggie enjoys spending time and spoiling her 8 nieces and nephews!

Zeynep Goktepe | Membership and Program Manager

Zeynep joined the Women’s Dermatologic Society in October 2024 as the Membership and Program Manager. Before joining WDS, she worked at the Wisconsin Humane Society Wildlife Rehabilitation Center tending to injured, sick, and orphaned wild animals.

Zeynep graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Journalism and Animal Ecology. In her free time, she most enjoys spending time with her two cats, family, and friends. She also loves spending time outdoors and reading.

KATIE MASON | Communications Manager

Katie joined the Women’s Dermatologic Society in September 2023 as the Communications Manager. Before joining WDS, she worked as a Content Creator and Product Photographer for a small business specializing in selling and creating children's art supplies to be sold on Amazon.

Katie graduated from Alverno College with a B.A. in Communication. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, taking photos, and finding the best coffee shops in the city.
