GET ADVICE FROM AN EXPERIENCED COLLEAGUE.

As one of your member benefits, this newly formed WDS program allows for dermatologists to contact an expert for advice and guidance, through a non-formal rotation. What do we mean by non-formal? The duration, intensity of the relationship, and subject matter is to be decided upon by each mentor-mentee. Whether you are just graduating or have been in the industry for years, this program is available to anyone looking for a reliable supporter of your career. *Please note that WDS does not cover any expenses associated with this program.

INTERESTED IN BECOMING A MENTOR?

It's easy! To begin, we ask that you fill out a basic profile that all potential mentees will be able to see after logging in to this section on our site. You will indicate straightforward information about your expertise and qualifications, as well as your preferred method of contact and what time(s) you are available to connect. The best part? You are passing down your knowledge and lending a helping hand to someone interested in learning more. Is it becoming too much or taking a lot out of your schedule? Not a problem. You have the ability to opt-out of the program completely when you are ready, and update your profile when needed.

MENTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD

Have you had a great experience with a mentor and feel he/she should be recognized? Nominate him/her for the WDS Mentor of the Year award by sending an email to wds@womensderm.org. Please include the nominee's name, C/V, and letter(s) of recommendation.
