The Women's Health Research Career Development Awards was established by the WDS to provide support for research that focuses on health issues that primarily affect women.
The award is for research done in the area of women's health issues, which range from disorders that affect primarily women, such as lupus and scleroderma, to the effects of hormones and environmental factors on the skin and cutaneous aging."
